With Ore60, we wanted to bring this natural aesthetic into our design philosophy, capturing the contrast between raw strength and refined balance.

The overall silhouette of the Ore60 features a regular trapezoidal profile, narrower at the top and wider toward the base. Its side profile is composed of multiple geometric cut surfaces, creating a sculpted, faceted appearance.

From the front, we imagined the top case as the outer rock layer surrounding a gemstone — rugged and organic, yet carefully balanced in proportion. Every surface angle and transition was iterated through multiple prototype prints to achieve harmony between form and structure.

The proportions between each facet, as well as their elevation and cutting angles, were carefully refined to ensure that light interacts differently across each surface. As lighting conditions change, the case reveals shifting reflections and depth, emphasizing the natural character inspired by mineral formations.

The spiral pattern on the backplate extends from two curved ridges inspired by the natural surface contours of a gemstone. Using the outer edge of the backplate as a reference, layered framing lines progressively contract inward, gradually forming the silhouette of the central gem.

This composition guides the viewer’s focus toward the gemstone weight at the center, creating a strong visual focal point.

The rear design is primarily composed of two elements — the backplate itself and the gemstone-inspired weight — balancing structural simplicity with a distinctive visual identity.
