Overview

PCB screw-in stabilizers for standard 1.6 mm PCBs, tuned with a thin silicone layer inside the housing and stem to help cut ticking. Includes both metal and plastic spacebar wires in 6.25u and 7u so you can match your layout and preferred feel.

Why it’s great

  • Screw-in stability for cleaner, tighter keystrokes on larger keys.
  • Internal silicone layer targets tick and rattle at the source.
  • Both 6.25u and 7u space options included, plus enough extra 2u coverage for a TKL.
  • Experiment with Plastic or Metal spacebar wires.

What’s in the box

  • 7u metal wire × 1
  • 7u plastic wire × 1
  • 6.25u metal wire × 1
  • 6.25u plastic wire × 1
  • 2u wires × 4
  • Plastic housing × 10

Compatibility & notes

  • Use included washers on the screws to prevent metal on PCB contact and avoid shorting the PCB.

  • Fits keyboards/PCBs that accept screw-in MX stabilizers and use 1.6 mm PCB thickness.

  • The kit supports sizes up to TKL, choose 6.25u or 7u spacebar per your layout.

  • If your PCB is 1.2 mm or plate-mount only, these won’t fit.

FAQ

Do these include both 6.25u and 7u spacebar wires?
Yes—both are in the kit, and you also get both metal and plastic versions for the spacebar position.

How many 2u positions can I cover?
You get four 2u wires with 10 housings/stems—enough for anything up to a TKL in size (so 60’s, 65’s, and 75’s are fine too).

Will this work on a 1.2 mm PCB?
No, this listing is for 1.6 mm PCBs only.

Are screws, washers, and pads included?
Yes, as pictured in the product gallery.

Any tuning tips?
Standard stab prep applies:

  • Thin coat of lube on the inside of the housing (Krytox 205g0 recommended)

  • Thin coat of lube on the flat outside of the stem (Krytox 205g0 recommended)

  • Thin coat of lube on the end of the wire, anywhere the wire is contacting the housing (Permatex Dialectric Grease or Krytox 205g0 recommended)
