QC Specifications / Disclaimers:
Please note that this product is made from patina’d aluminum or brass respectively. Due to the nature of the patina process, each piece will vary in color, tone, texture, and finish. These variations are a natural and intentional characteristic of the material and should be expected. No two pieces are exactly alike.
By purchasing this product, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations. Because each item is unique and made with an intentionally variable finish refunds, returns, or exchanges will not be offered based on surface finish pattern, texture, color, tone, or finish consistency. Normal QC guidelines otherwise still apply and will be treated like any other colorway.
Attached are images of pieces done with the same batch of material, under the same conditions and at the same time. This represents an idea of the variance that could be expected in the "Aged" or “Patina” colorways. If you are not comfortable with variance it is recommended to choose a different colorway.
Machinist Aluminum and Copper Pieces:
Note that the "Machinist" aluminum color way will have machine marks and scratches present as they are not processed after CNC aside from clear anodizing on the case. By purchasing the "Machinist" color way you acknowledge that QC for these parts is not possible and it is not eligible for returns or exchanges based on machine mark patterns or processing marks. Copper “Machinist” pieces use intentional machine lines in the copper that have a clear coat applied from the factory however due to the semi-raw nature of the material it lasts between 2-6 months depending on the amount of handling and conditions of your environment. Overtime without care this will develop a patina. Protective coatings can be maintained and re-applied to prevent oxidation.
